Blkboxster, like most Porsches, pricing is all over the board. I lot depends on the things you would expect; condition, mileage, options, mods (some increase some decrease) and history.

I have looked at cars from $60-90. Cars with 12,000 miles and cars with 40,000 miles.

Now is a great time to buy, with the current economy. Sellers are also becoming more realistic. I want a good, solid car. Not a garage queen or museum piece. I plan to drive it, like I do the Boxster.

We'll see what happens. No rush.

Heck, I could buy a 2006-2007 (soon a 2008) Carrera S for about the same money, and get a warranty. This is actually an option for me, but I really want the old body style, air cooled engine and turbo power.

But, the potential costs involved with a +12 year old Porsche is very daunting.
