A few years back, while living in NW Fla a strong electrical storm passed over my home and we got zapped. At first I thought it just hit the house, however, when I went outside to check on my Volvo, I smelled burnt electrical and rubber. My Volvo looked like a dragster as the lightening strike hit my car and burned the front two tires to the ground and blew out the entire electrical system. I always though that cars were immune to electrical strikes because of the rubber, NOT SO!
