Hahaha, ideally I'd love to find a man to do all that, but really I'd be happy to marry a man I just truly love. Who does it all now? Me. But not very happily and often not very frequently. But I figure I can hire a maid if I marry a guy who just must have a clean toilet and won't clean it himself. But really, marriage, THAT is a scary word!
And yeah, my dad may be exceptional in some ways, but my mom pays for it in other ways!

We are going way off topic now.
Pays for it in other ways? Ominous. Marriage? You are still young. You have plenty of time to play. Marriage scared me as well until I found my wife. You will know.
Ok... I have to stop now. The other forum members will start picking on me if we stray too far from P-cars. I have to face Sammy and Nickcats at the autocross next week.

I didn't mean that to sound as awful as it does when I said she "pays" in other ways. My dad can just be a real pain in the ass and he's also the king of farts!

Ok that is better.
Paying for all the chores with farting? Big deal. All men are gaseous. You just have to realize that. If you are going out with a guy and he does not seem to be gaseous..... he is holding it in. He is still on his first 2 months best behavior. If he is walking funny and seems to be constipated.... let him know it is ok. You grew up with your dad.

Well LB, I guess I wouldn't be the good fit that hjkim550 says to find. Seems we have too many things in common. I hate shopping in general, grocery shopping in particular (I'll eat everything in my house before I go grocery shopping), I don't cook but I do BBQ, I try to keep things neat so I don't have to clean, and you're supposed to clean toilets? I do take out the trash, I do laundry but I probably mix things that I shouldn't, and I haven't ironed a shirt since Mutual of Omaha went business casual 4 yrs ago. I buy wrinkle free slacks and take my shirts out of the dryer early and let them dry flattened out on my extra bed.
We also have similar tastes in automobiles.

Oh, I'd probably never go to the grocery store if I didn't drink a lot of water. So I make myself go when I get down to the last couple of bottles. Ironing? I have shirts I haven't worn in over a year because I keep putting off ironing, seriously.
hjkim550, I know all men are gaseous! Shoot, women do it too (don't tell!) But my dad seriously is like way off the Richter scale. And my mom said he never was like that before they got married. Surprise, surprise!
