There are two spots that probably came from. Either the handbrake lever or the shifter assembly,both are held down by nuts.

You'd need to remove the center console to find out though.

Heck maybe that nut was from something else not related to the car. Does the nut have the greenish tint stuff that most Porsche nuts have? Can you post a pic of the nut?

A few pictures.

One is where the nut was found, and the other 2 are to see if anyone can spot if I am missing something??

I test drove the car and everything seems just as it was a few days ago.

Growing up the car magazines said how amazing Porsches are. Was I brainwashed? Somehow...I doubt it.
