As mentioned, check with your local PCA chapter/region first.

Over the winter, PCA has "uped" their minimum guidelines and it does impact some folks seating arrangements. However, for Drivers Ed events, there seems to be ONE consistency - Stock Factory Seats with Factory 3 pt belts are allowed.

The real issue is for folks who want to use racing seatbelt "harnesses". The harnesses do NOT work properly with factory porsche seats (factory GT3 seats notwithstanding) due to the built in headrest that prohibits the shoulder harnesses from fitting properly. Thus, at a minimum, regions require certain types of seats be used in conjunction with harnesses. They often require "like set up" for driver and passenger. They also require belts to be installed according to the manufacturers guidelines on angle of belt and use of seat holes for routing the belts.
