As far as I know, you cannot interchange the racks. The wall mounted rack, and the cart mounted rack are completely different, and seperate. You will need to buy a new wall mounted rack to accomplish this.

Of course, I could be wrong, so wait for someone else with that type of rack to chime in.

Yeah, that much I know is wrong, because I know there is a kit (which I have) that consists of mounting hardware and a short aluminum pole that are all that is needed to convert it to a wall mount system, but thanks.

The Porsche instruction were useless for my wall mount. And I have no experience with the rack you have.

It looks like you should just unbolt the I-shaped part (wider horizontal up) of the rack from the roller.

The wide member (that the rear of the top fits into) is bolted to the wall using rubber lined radiator-type clamps with a lag screw that goes into the wall.

Make very sure you hit studs with both lag screws.

No idea what the short pole is for cuz my rack only has the two horizontals joined by the vertical.

I'm sure I can figure it out, it's just difficult to believe that Porsche doesn't provide better information for products they produce, market, and sell. "There must be something out there"....(I'm beginning to sound like an ET hunter, I know!)

Had some time to lay it out and look at everything and barring wife not coming home to help me lift it, I've got it securely mounted and ready to go. I took lots of pics.

The two hoseclamps mount the top and as 70Sixter mentioned, lag into a stud. Hey, the whole thing hangs on 2 screws, so be careful to get some real 'meat'.
