Porsche mechanic / specialist Listing
Hey Folks,
Looks like a lot of people wanted an easier way to look up a listing---- as recommended by fellow 986forum members.
So, since I had some spare time....here it is!
Hope this is helpful!
EDIT: BTW, I did not double check the info, whatever folks wrote in the thread that's what I put.

Thanks for the props!
I guess it would be a good idea to link this to the original thread that it's related to as well.

thanks for the list dcporsche. can i add another?
German Motors

Providence, RI 02904

they might not be rock bottom price, but are very experienced, don't look for work you don't need to have done...seem pretty honest. also the place is packed everyday with porsches, bmw's, and audis and everyone keeps coming back so they must be doing something right. at any rate they're 100 times better than our local 'stealer' - inskip motors- so i think they're worth a try. dj

Yeah, no problem.... I just added yours to the list.
How 'bout, I'll try to edit the post from time to time and add new ones as folks post them on the thread.
Thanks for your input!

Autosport Performance : NJ
I would add Autosport Performance in Englewood NJ. I am sure the place in Rockaway is great but it's a hike for anyone in Bergen County. I bought my '99 in August and they have been great. did a PPI on three different cars and picked the right one (thus far). The work they have done has been efficient, good and well priced. Ty and Arthur don't seem to mind taking the time to talk to you, show you stuff and explain it in terms a non-gear head can understand.

Please add this:
Connecticut
I used these guys last year- highly recommended. Only Porsche and as they say "Oil Changes to full track prep and support". I don't have a link handy as I am out of time today, but it is easy enough to find.
Daniel Jacobs LLC

no connections. etc.
Sorry, some idiot (me ) posted it in the old thread...

Your work on this is quite commendable (would be easier to read in excel format).
I would like to add two highly recommended P-car shops in northern Illinois.
My fav: Perfect Power - Sol Snyderman
1009 Commerce Dr
Buffalo Grove IL 847-465-8837
www.perfectpowerinc.com/
and: Fischer Motors - Peter & Rick Fischer
908 S Northwest Hwy
Barrington IL 847-304-8822
Both these shops are highly qualified Porsche specialists (and other german cars)
and handle both street and serious race prep. Sol built my '73 911 vintage track car.
