did anyone take any personal pix they could post?

Man, I wish I was there instead of Houston where Ike hit... but glad I stayed home because my house would be flooded right now if I had left.

No pix, Randall. Sorry. We were too busy driving and buying gas.

I made it home with no over heating. Didn't use the AC. Have not figured out what is going on. I have a liter of water in the car just in case.

Had a great time. In a few months we'll be planning next year.

Congratulations on the marriage and say hello to your lovely wife for me.

I didn't go with the group but just got back from a football weekend in Knoxville.

I drove over to Blue Ridge GA. I took 68 up from the Georgia line - great road, light traffic (virtually none Saturday morning), well paved and great turns, hills, etc. 68 goes right to Tellico Plains and the Cherohala Skyway entrance. I like going West to East better. On to the Dragon - crazy crowded. Got stuck behind a big pick up that wouldn't pull over. Oh well.

I highly recommend this route to anyone heading north to the Dragon (from the Southeast).
