I also properly torqued the bolts but did not replace them. I have done this with my calipers on the race car probably 15 times now. I have not had a single instance of them ever coming loose.

Look up the price on those bolts! You'll never find any track person using a new set of bolts every time they change pads... you'd spend $30 extra an axle just on bolts!
