Mike, of course I like the Waxahachie tour/get-together. You didn't mention that we could also get some really cool multiple Boxster photos in front of the downtown courthouse too. There are some other spots near downtown that would make an interesting backdrop for a group car photo. And I definitely think you should lead the way on any of the mini-tours with that nice new fast engine ....and the V1.

Ken

Didn't seem like there was a big interest in this for this weekend.
Was there anyone else that could do Uptown tomorrow around noon?

For the record, Village Burger Bar is not conducive for parking.
I say Chip's.

I talked with Jeph and it seems most are not available this weekend so let's try again for sometime soon. Hope next time the weather will be more cooperative.

Dallas Area

Hi locals,
I'm a newbie on the site, but would be interested in meeting, and networking with other Boxter owners. How does one go about getting an invite to the next meet-up?

I am in Carrollton and drive an 02 non-S, Tiptonic, Arctic Silver \ Silver top, Silver and Black interior. I acknowledge other Boxter owners, perhaps we have noded heads, or waived already.

Thanks

No invites required. Just keep an eye on this forum for the next get together. It seems like a handful of people just signed up. Something soon will be in order.

How about you organize something. Even meeting for breakfast or lunch is fun. I see Jeph often enough but other than that the DFW group has not done too well at scheduling events.

In case you didn't already know, Clint Blackman organizes Sunday Drive events for PCA Maverick region. It's a leisurly half day trip to somewhere nearby, many times Porsche related but not necessarily. The next one is March 22nd.

DescriptionOur first Sunday drive will be a "thru the country" drive to downtown Denision, Texas. The drive itself will be fun as we have a route that takes us down some great country roads and past some little towns that time has almost forgotten. Our destination is downtown Denision. The downtown area has been restored with interesting sights and shops. We have a great restaurant stop for a snack before returning back home. Contact Clint at tours@mavpca.org for more info.
