My rear O2 sensors were simply unplugged from the main harness. The ECU reflash that was performed on mine only requires the use of the two front sensors that are installed in the new headers. I think you will be more than satisfied with them. When I purchased mine, I was not expecting anything more really than a $100.00 set of headers but am pleasantly surprised whith the quality, fitment and performance gains so far (less than 200 miles on them).

I'm confused, you say the rear O2 sensors were ungluged, and the 2 front ones were used. But the way I see it the 2 front sensors are part of the 2 that are being used with the new headers. And it only has one hole for one sensor. As I was told the new headers do not come with one whole on each side. Correct? The other 2 REAR sensors are in the DOWN PIPE before the exhaust. So which is really the front and which is the rear. I think I understand you but what you are calling the rear are actually the front 2.

Wow, you're even confusing me with your confusion... Don't over think this. With the new setup quite simply there are two sets of headers, one for each side of the engine. Each one has a single bung for an O2 sensor before the cats. That's all. So the driver's side and passenger's side both have one O2 sensor. This is the same as the European setup where there is only one cat on each side and the O2 sensor is before that cat.

With the old/stock setup there is an O2 sensor before and after the first set of cats. Both sensors are mounted on bungs in the header. When he put his new headers on he just kept the first (front/forward most) sensor from each side. The rear, after cat, sensor was simply unplugged on each side.

Thank you! This makes more sense to me now. I did not realize he was using the older set up. I was just trying to imagine where the bung holes were before I even got them. They arrived yesterday. Will get to finally see them today after I get off work.

Finally got to open my box of headers up. They look great! Welds are A+ and comes with new gaskets and bolts. This was a steel of a deal. For the price you can't beat it. Allot of people were suspicious of the price, but really it all has to do with supply and demand. Think about it, during Christmas time the company makes an excessive amount of headers to keep up with the demand and can therefore lower their prices. This way they can sell more. That's good business in my book. Basically we get them for whole sale cost. After the holidays they will go back up on pricing.
