With the old/stock setup there is an O2 sensor before and after the first set of cats. Both sensors are mounted on bungs in the header. When he put his new headers on he just kept the first (front/forward most) sensor from each side. The rear, after cat, sensor was simply unplugged on each side.

Thank you! This makes more sense to me now. I did not realize he was using the older set up. I was just trying to imagine where the bung holes were before I even got them. They arrived yesterday. Will get to finally see them today after I get off work.
