Litronics Headlight Flicker

I'm currently having an odd issue with the Litronics headlight on the passenger side of my '00 Boxster S. When driving I will notice that the light will go out. The problem is typically fixed by turning the lights off, and back on again. Needless to say this is quite annoying.

Has anyone had a similar problem, and what can be done to correct it?

Thanks,
Eric

your light is not locked into place. it loses connection when you drive and thats why it flickers and turns of. what you need to do is this:

-try to pull out your unit with your hand, and if it slides out then its not locked into place.

- then open the front trunk get the tool from your spare tire tool kit, open the side panel of the trunk, put it in the hole and turn until you hear a sound.

- The instructions is in the owners manual. the sound will sound like you broke something.

-Now your light is locked into place and wont move around

do this immediately because a) its annoying and dangerous to drive and b) someone will steal it and sell it on ebay and I will buy it.

good luck

If relocking the light doesn't work try swapping bulbs from side to side and see if the fault follows the bulb.
