2000 $21,575 ( S )
2001 $20,900
2001 $24,125 ( S )
2002 $23,050

2003 $27,200
2003 $31,500 ( S )
2004 $32,300

Many magazines put the issues out weeks in advance to extend their shelf life.

Scott Slauson (in the scanned piece) is the PCA Tech Expert for Boxster/Cayman (and Carrera GT) available to members for on-line advice.

I haven't gotten my Nov R&T either.

One dirty little secret some mags use to get out factory info early is to state that they put certain time sensitive info in the whatever month's issue. Then claim not their fault it leaked as they cannot control distribution or mailing.

2010 Boxster

I have not seen the November Road and Track. Could someone give a brief summary of what it says about the 2010 boxster? Thanks.

2010 Boxster

Thank you for posting the Road & Track information. I am still trying to decide between ordering a 2008 or waiting for the 2009 to see if the body changes and direct fuel injection will appear early next year. The article seems to indicate 2010 is the year but it seems strange that both 2008 and 2009 would remain basically unchanged.

It appears that the 2009 would be a minor facelift, at least from the pictures we have seen. 2009 was also expected to introduce Direct Fuel Injection, bumping up power from 245 hp to 270 on the base Boxster, and 295hp to 320hp on the Boxster S. It seems strange to me that Porsche would invest in a facelift for the Boxster for only one year, 2 years is more likely. The 2010 is probably a MY2011 introduced in the year 2010.
