60K Service

I will be ready for the 60k service on my 98 Boxster soon. Does anyone know of shops in the Palm Springs, Ca area and have ideas of the cost?
Thanks
Bill

The hardest part of the 60k is the spark plugs, which are among the easiest to change of any modern car....

You can do the whole thing yourself for a couple of hundred dollars.

Just do the 60k on your own.

You could change the oil,oil filter, air filter, cabin filter on your own if you know how to jack up the car.

The serpentine belt, spark plugs, fuel filter are something to do if you want to be semi-adventurous.

I would say that changing the tranny fluid was a b*tch and the only thing I'd consider paying someone else to do.
The area that you fill is soo damn narrow. I had to take the fluid from the MT-90 bottle and transfer it into an old empty lawn mower oil container(much more narrow) and pour it in that way.

Apparently there is a small pump you can buy at the local auto parts store that I could pump the fluid in which would make it much easier.
