I think that the same group of Porsche owners not able to own a Tip would probably never wear a pink shirt. Just MHO.

Not like other drivers who would still use their phones in their manual cars, not caring if they hit someone or something or not caring that they can't shift so they have to slow down to whatever speed and piss off the people behind them.

Yup! Lot's of rich, hot women and rich teen-agers here drive Boxsters, dude! How about your part of the world? What's that? No hot rich women? Just bucked toothed, crossed-eyed women? No wonder.

Wait, I was just in San Diego for the Parade and even the parking garages had warning signs informing me that exhaust gases in the garage might damage my health.

If you guys are so health crazy why would you use a cell phone when it emits microwaves that are slowing cooking your corneas.

coz' that's how Californians roll....bwahahahahaha!

and I know for sure that who ever put that sign in parking garage...drive a automatic Chevy or Ford truck and calling their office on what's their next location to install the health hazard sign

2 big thumbs up for Paul...for being a hardcore, knowledgeable Porsche manual driver and for being a health advisor

Isn't SLOWING cooking our corneas a good thing as opposed to having your corneas cooked in Wisconsin?

By the way, the other reason women and teenagers don't drive boxsters there in Wisconsin is because women and teenagers there still ride donkeys to work and school.

Talking

Well, let's see. This thread started out about the lower prices of Boxsters these days.

After that?

Lets get on back on track. Tips are fine, stick too.

It is all good.

Bottom line, I thought the low price was partially due to the fact that it was a TIP, it seems I've learned that is not true in other parts of the world. We learn something every day!

Tips are more in demand and retain there value vs manual if you search anywhere in the nation...
That said I am soo glad I have my Tip and not for the original reason I decided to get it...my better half cannot drive a manual.

This weekend I took a spirited late night drive here in NJ through a handful of my favorite twisties and loved every minute of the tip shifting...

...keeping the revs up while carving out a few good turns with the growl of a non modded, non S is enough bliss for me! (alright, it is desnorked)
