jmabasa Registered User Join Date: Jun 2005 Location: Rosemead, CA Posts: 216	I just transfered the title of another car to my name a few months ago and to my surprise, the DMV didn't charge me a cent or even ask how much I got the car for. I guess they've abolished the taxes for second hand cars when you buy from a private seller?
