Now Look What I Have Done!

OH GREAT, I am at work reading this thinking that I have the black cap,,,,,and I know its new....

Now I will have to go home and check to make sure....I may have messed it up.


But I know I have the new cap..


be back after I get home.

After my catastrophic coolant leak the new cap the dealer put on my car is blue. It seems to me that when I drove the Cayman at the track the cap on that car was black. I think as long as the number has an 01 you are good no matter what color it is.

Looks blue to me.

If anyone has a black cap I would like to know where it was purchased from.

Are we talking about the same thing?

Im talking about the cap in the rear trunk beside the oil cap....

And yes the new one I have is Black. I checked it...The old one is the stock blue one.

No part number on it though... But I do know that it is a new type cap.

the black cap i bought has part number 99610644701 on the piece of plastic wrap but not on the cap itself. cap is made by Blau. honestly, i don't really care what color it is as long as the part number is correct.

My new style (ending in 01) cap is blue, and came from Porsche.
