You know, I have no idea how they procure these prices. That's a very good question!
I just skimmed the article and it didn't say anything about how they determined the value. I do think it's from data of sold vehicles collected, and not suggested pricing by someone with a depreciation schedule in hand.
This is a regular feature of this magazine and each year they publish something on the 986 and 996. I'm betting they'll release something on the 987 and 997 soon and I'll post that too when it is published for all the 987 owners here.
