Where to find these Pieces? (interior)

I have this console and I need to source down the remaining pieces.. Its the leather pieces + one plastic piece that cover the parking break.

Thanks for the help, and I hope I post in the right forum..

I would check a salvage yard, there's one in LA that ships and can get anyting. Or try sunset imports, or suncoast porsche's website. (Why is it always sun...?)

You actually need more than you think, Assume all you have as far as a center console is pictured... You will need the peices you mentioned as well as

-The lock assembly for the storage compartment
-The Lid to storage compartment
-Hinge kit for Storage compartment
-Plastic floor for inside the storage compartment
-Rubber liner for inside storage compartment
-Window Switch/Heated Seats trim peice
-Ashtray or non-smokers tray assembly

Thats about all can think of and im pretty sure thats it. Sorry i dont have part numbers.

Yea I was guessing it was more than I expected. I'm guessing this can be had at my local dealer, but then the price will be up to.. If anyone knows the part number of the pieces please post them here.

Thanks guys for your help

Why can't you take the parts from your existing console and put them on the replacement?

If you must order parts through a dealership (these won't be in stock, most probably) you may want to buy them through Sunset in Oregon. They give good prices for out of state customers.

I would take my parts from my existing console but this is my first console.. It didn't come with the car. I am making a newer version of the 914. I am putting boxster interior, GT3 Seats, boxster calipers and rotors, 911 suspension in it... So if anyone has these parts (console) please let me know, or where I can find them (or their part number)

Thanks

That is an awesome looking 914, I considered getting one a few years back and would have if they looked that good.

Nice 914!

I love the Carrera Sport wheels. I've considered a set for my 986.

Rears are 9" its stock tires for now, (255-40-17, rear) (205-45-17 on a 7" front) haven't been able to drive it since they came on..

3.6L 993 engine is the plan

Did you try:http://www.dcauto.com/

They have parts for all areas broken down on the center console. They have great diagrams too!

cbenitah,

Are you saying the wheels are 17's? Are they Carrera Sports? I thought those wheels were only available in 19 inch diameter.

Where can I find them in 17 inch?

Thanks,

ddb

Mine are from the 2002 996 model.. I think they just came out with the 19's for the 997...

I got mine of Ebay pretty cheap and in excellent condition.. took me a long time to find them though.

Here is the 19" Carrera Sport
