Hi Guys,
I just got back from the track, had a great time!
Here's the deal.
No helmets needed, just drive up to the booth at the entrance of the track and sign a PCA waiver and a track waiver. You will then be given an wrist band. Then proceed towards the track to the stop sign. The track worker will allow you to cross the track when it is safe. Proceed across the track and follow the road to the false grid. Enter the false grid when the PA announcer calls for the touring cars. A worker will walk down the line of cars to collect donations for JDRF. Checks are welcome, no receipts will be sent. There will be a lot of good racing going on so enjoy the day! I probably will not be there since I was away from home all week (not planned).

BTW the track was clean and in good shape, the pace car allowed us to drive faster than most of us would take similar corners on our favorite back roads.

What a great weekend !
My buddy Greg and his girlfriend ( in the Viper ), my wife, Bmus and his wife, Chills, and Sammy all met up Saturday morning and took a nice ride out to Galena, IL. A beautiful day, some great roads, good food, and great conversation ( IowaS met us in Galena as well ) :

A special thanks to Paul ! Sammy, Bmus, and I met up at Blackhawk Farms in WI to watch the Milwaukee PCA race and at lunch they let us take our cars on the track. What a blast ! 20 laps at a real good pace ( much faster than I expected ! ) That was the most fun I ever had with my clothed on
Hope everyone had a great weekend as well…
Nick

What an AWESOME weekend!!!
My favorite car from today was the older black 911 with the whale tale in the last photo of the show. Great job with the photo show and make sure you thank the Mrs. for taking a good part of the photos and for patiently sitting there while we drool over all the cars and the racing.
The "parade" was a lot faster than I thought it was going to be. I had no idea that they were going to let us take the turns so fast. It gets an 32.5 on a scale of 1 to 10.
Thanks Paul for the idea and the links (sorry we couldn't meet you there today)!
The Galena trip was great as well other than the parking. We couldn't have asked for better weather.
I'm babbling... I'll shut up now... ok... not yet...
Bmusatti, I'll be dreaming about road K and hopefully we can hit it in a couple weeks (I'm out next weekend as the last autocross of the year is on Saturday).
