I wonder how long it will be before cars come with a mike at the exhaust, feeding sound into the stereo via a DSP unit that has both pre-set and customizable digital sound "enhancers". The DME would also feed in rpm input to make the color and intensity of the sound rpm-dependent for a whole spectrum of exhaust sounds to match any mood. Come to think if it, forget the exhaust mike. The rpm input would be enough, and the DSP synthesizer would take it from there. And for those also interested in the outside world hearing their creation: outward facing speakers strategically positioned near the exhaust. Any buyers?
Z.

Congratulations!!!
Please, please, PLEASE post a sound clip when it's on.
On cold, rainy nights...when I'm in my bedroom all by myself.. I find myself wandering to youtube & browsing the net to find Porsche exhaust notes.
As I let them lull me to sleep, my hand mysteriously migrates down my pants.

I hope to get it done the week of April 16th if the parts arrive soon. Then I need to learn how to make & post a sound clip.

If you get a digital sound clip (mp3, etc.) email it to me and I will post it to our server, and then give you the link.

I promise I won't use the xxx audio files you sent me - you told me they were for my ears only and I respect that.
