Oh, I thought you'd want to sell the whole engine as one piece since it runs.
It has this big nut on the shaft, I think it's recognizable:

Yep, Here's what I saw today:
Here's my plan: I'll have the engine listed for local pick-up only until I have enough free time to take it apart. As long as nobody buys it first, you can have the IMS.

That's awesome. The backside of this engine looks cleaner than my 22k mile-motor that i'm working on. This hasn't run much.

Bits and pieces are what is left. Ask and I'll see if I can find what you want.

You wouldn't happen to have the two AC system pipes that run underneath the car on the passenger side (it's a 2000 Boxster S), would you? Part numbers 996 573 091 01 & 996 573 092 01. Based on the parts manual, these seem to be common to all 986 variants. I'm replacing the compressor, drier, and Schrader valves and happened to notice that both of these pipes have been partially crushed, probably by a misplaced jack (it may even have been my jack). Each pipe is $200+, and I have spent almost all my allowance on the new compressor. The existing pipes are not leaking, but it doesn't seem smart to do all the work with compromised piping.

I sold both of my blue cars several years ago and I don't think that I have anything left in the color, except possibly a bumper plug. Screws and clips I should be able to find. I'll report back within a couple days.
