Looking for Axle shaft assembly for 2000 Boxster S

Hey y'all,
looking for used in good working condition rear axle shaft assemblies for a manual 2000 Boxster S.

I'm assuming any from a manual 2000-2004 3.2L will work.. could be wrong.

Any leads are much appreciated. Happy early 4th! Murica!

I've a lead for ya: Keep looking.

You managed to find the part on the Pelican site. The trick is to keep searching in that manner until you've arrived at a price with which you're comfortable.

I did a quick search, and found many specimens... and at costs far less than Peliccan. Betcha if you keep looking, you'll find that part and right price.

There's your lead.

Made my day!

Check out CL - California - Inland Empire, Los Angeles, Orange County. I go to the county page and do a general search for "Boxster". There's a guy in the "Inland Empire"... High Desert, who always has parts for sale. You'll find him.

There's also that place in Los Angeles that has a plethora of Porsche parts. I believe it's LA Auto Dismantler.

Good luck on your search.

lol I know how starter986 rolls, had to buck back a bit.

I ended up finding one off ebay from a 60k mileage boxster S, but will keep those places you mentioned in mind for when I need other parts

JP Patches was way before my time, but I have heard of that silly clown. You're really showing your age there bud!

I would have one for you in about two weeks when my rolling shell Boxster gets delivered. It has some spare parts I won't need for my project. Saw the axles in one of the pictures of it...

Buju has definitely sent me a few PM's to contact his friend @gmail... I mean at least try harder if you're going to be a scammer...

I got my two axle shafts delivered and upon inspection, one of the axle shafts boots on both ends had major crackings all around, looks like one U-turn would completely tear it through...

What will it take to get just 1 of the 6 axle shafts you got? help a brotha out

If I was you, I'd buy a boot replacement kit and install it on that axle before doing any U turns. It's a dirty job, but you effectively will have a new axle. A new axle that won't have to be replaced again in six months. That feeling of having done it yourself is worth more that the $250/hour shop fee that some places will charge.

I'm not you, I'm me. I can easily get more money, but it costs in time and every few minutes I notice that some of my time is gone and I can't get more. How much did I use writing this? ...wasted.

Anyway, here's some pictures:

YouTube has some good vids and Here's a link: https://www.pelicanparts.com/techarticles/Boxster_Tech/41-TRANS-CV_Joint_-_Boots/41-TRANS-CV_Joint_-_Boots.htm

Here's another picture:

I literally do not want to sell you anything. If you force me to give you a price, it won't be cheap. ...but I'll probably be better than a random used one on eBay.

Have you used that FCP kit for both the inner and outer boot?
I'm going to go that route, I won't force you for a price.

Those circlips, I'm thinking I don't need anything more than a 90 degree needle nose plier, or am I wrong and really need those circlip pliers..

I appreciate you taking the time for your inputs

The circlip plyers make it so much easier that I wouldn't want to do it without them.
Same kit works fine on both ends.
