A new axle that won't have to be replaced again in six months. That feeling of having done it yourself is worth more that the $250/hour shop fee that some places will charge.

Have you used that FCP kit for both the inner and outer boot?
I'm going to go that route, I won't force you for a price.

Those circlips, I'm thinking I don't need anything more than a 90 degree needle nose plier, or am I wrong and really need those circlip pliers..

The circlip plyers make it so much easier that I wouldn't want to do it without them.
Same kit works fine on both ends.
