FS: Brand new remote key heads

I have two brand new 3-button remote key heads still in the bags from Porsche. Part number 986 637 244 17. Complete with bar codes for programming. If you are local I can do the programming for you. $80 + shipping each.

So these are complete and all I would need is the cut key shaft and for the remote to be programmed and it will be 100%?

If so and you still have one available, I'll take it. Let me know and I will get you the money ASAP.

Sent you a PM also.

Yes they are complete. They are 3-button, does a 2000 not use a 2-button?

Oh, damn. Sorry didn't pay attention to that part.

Does the third button (for the frunk I'm guessing) matter? If I can still program the other two buttons to work properly, I would be ok with a third non-functioning button.

Let me do some research and I'll get back to you.

Is it possible to pop the little RF pill out of my current head and insert in one of yours to avoid programming?

That will allow the key to run the car, but the remote will not function.

If they work in place of a 2 button remote, I'll buy one!

Paul,
I have no idea if the remote functions of a 3 button will work on a 2 button car.

Paul,
I can send you the last key head and you can see if it works. If it doesn't just send it back. As long as the bar tag stays with the key, they can be reprogrammed over and over to different cars.
