I have one for sale for $150. Silver.

Problem is shipping. I don't have time to arrange it.

If you have any plans to drive to Houston in the next few weeks or months I'm happy to hold it for you. I have no other buyers.

I don't think you can, but you can edit the post and add "sold" at the top like I did here:

http://986forum.com/forums/boxster-parts-sale-wanted/59842-ebs-stainless-x-51-style-oil-baffle-%24100.html

On this forum I don't think we can edit the subject line of a post, or delete a post, but we can edit the body.

Can you put items for sale with out a price on them and then tell people in private message you got several offers?

You can, but you'll be ostracized by the community (I'd probably be one of the first to call you out for shady behavior).

If you want to sell to the highest bidder, there's this site called "eBay". Otherwise, it is courteous to post an item for sale with an asking price.

Hi Are links to ebay auction allowed? I know it says 'no auctions', but that seems different from most other BBS sites. Please advise - thx.

rkwei no longer runs the site and it is now owned by Pelican Parts, who is generally very permissive with the postings. "No auctions" means don't list an item here expecting people to compete with bids 'till you are ready to sell.

Links to eBay have been done regularly without any issue and the original post by rkwei said it was okay:

Here is what you are allowed to do:

Sell a part/vehicle you own
Refer to a listing at another auction site, eBay et al.
...
That being said, I think that if you use the classified section to simply market your eBay sales, without offering the items here first, it may become a problem.

OK, thx. I'll try posting again as my original post from yesterday hasn't appeared (not sure if every post is still individually moderated).

WTB: 2000-2004 Exhaust Components

Looking for the mid pipes and rear muffler assembly for a 2001 S. Found a set of manifolds from a fellow member. Lower mileage pieces preferred but not mandatory.

WTB Center Dash Console Storage Cubby

Just checking if anyone has a spare they are looking to part with. I know I can purchase new through different Sites, just putting the feelers out there for a used one. Want to swap out the stock CD changer. Willing to trade if someone needs the changer. I have the original deck as well. Swapped out for newer double DIN head unit.
-Thanks
