LOL. I don't have any black ones but I do have a set of 03 seal grey for $50 shipped. I broke a black mounting tab removing them though. I haven't got around to it yet, but I'm going to try and mount mine without the black plastic mounting tabs. The vent has a screw on top and the mounting tab that's glued/molded to the vent in the corner. Those two hold the vent on pretty good. I want to see if there might be a way to discreetly screw it on the bottom too. Those three black mounting tabs are known to break or come loose.

Seal grey on black not the look i'm looking for and don't want to paint, so keep me in mind if you get in a set in black. Happy Holidays!

rear trunk lock and latch...

Hello, I'm looking for a rear trunk lock and latch (1st gen boxster) w/micro switch.

But similar could work too, since it for a pure fabrication build, a latch for the clamshell when push rods ect are removed to make it a manual top.

Thx, matt

p.s. the long cable to the drivers door release lever would be great too.

Hi Matt
I have the latches and cable you need for $35 shipped. I like your idea and will be trying it myself.

I shipped it two days ago with USPS. Sorry I don't have the tracking number handy right now. I threw in two cables so you can choose which one will work better for your application. I think I'm going to use the emergency release cable for mine and not the trunk cable. It's almost the perfect length and has a convenient loop already.

wishlist...

pass headlight tray?
headlight plug?
hardtop latch cover?
3 prong plug for speed sensor on trans???
black side mirror covers pr?
plain door sill covers pr?
black carpet for firewall and engine cover?
987 engine cover?
headlight gaskets (@ front edge to body)???lol

Ok, now the last "weird one" ...

black carpet (floors) BUT without any foam sound deadening, and I don't care at all if any damage to "floor" area as mine is covered by separate floor boards wrapped independently in carpet. Just need the sides tunnel and under seats to look ok...

LMAO, thanks Woody, let my know if you can help out on any of this...Matt

Post 2001 Boxster Parts wish list

2001 boxster 986

Need parts for Tiptronic 5 speed auto transmission - need Left side driveshaft cover/bearing support assembly. Do not have proper part number - casting marks on piece read 1060 455 001 F1 N1

This picture shows the part is part of the differential.
Cover has three bolts - picture included - cover only needed but will take whole assembly.

Also Underbody plastics.

Need manual for transmission.

Hi,
I don't have any tiptronics or parts for them. I usually sell them whole. I have the front and middle plastic belly pans for $25 each plus shipping. I don't have any transmission manuals but I have a few manual transmissions. lol $300-700

I can't believe these aren't already easily available. 1/3 the headlights I get in the rubber seal is gooey like tar.

Woody, I need a complete, intact front belly pan when/if you get another one. Also, do you have the guards that go in front of the front wheels?
