I've never even seen a Z-top in person. I keep my 986 covers. They come in handy on keeping cars protected from the sun and rain.

I have the belly pan but those front guards are always missing or broke on the cars that come in

It happens this time of the year. I'll get another one shipped to you tomorrow. Sorry
I picked up a 99 today with 175K and a blown tiptronic. Nothing special about it and it doesn't have the double bin or wind mesh.

Memory Seat Parts - 2000 or Earlier
Woody,
I know this is a bit of a long shot, but I was wondering whether you had any of the memory seat parts shown in this picture:
I'm particularly interested in the trunk control/memory unit that fits in the driver's door sill. I'd also need the wiring that runs from the door sill to the control under the driver's seat. I think that I need a unit from a 2000 or earlier car because they have the mechanical trunk releases.
Thanks
Kevin

I believe I have a 98 and 02 986, and a 2000 996 that had the seat memory option. I'll need to check the condition on them though

Thanks - I'm not exactly sure what I need in terms of wiring, but I expect that there is a connector in the driver's door sill and then one that goes to the module under the driver's seat. I think that connector under the seat would fit into the large vertically oriented terminal that is on the right side of the seat module in this picture:

Hi Chuck,
I keep all the car covers that come in. They come in handy for protecting interiors in the early stages of disassembly. I have some mufflers, $50 for a base and $100 for a S. I'll gladly ship you one, but living out there in the land of Porsches. You can probably find one cheaper after shipping is included. I'm guessing $75-100 to ship.

Hi Matt,
I don't get too many center radiators. I usually get $150 for the radiator and brackets when I do have one. The lines I sent Mahendra were only about 4-5 inches long. Unless the car is up on a lift, it's hard to get more. I've started to take those off when I remove the motor and trans. Good power steering lines are in high demand among the spec guys. I have another set of short lines or you can wait for a set to come up that has damage to them farther down?
I've decided to sell some rear speaker boxes I've been holding onto. One is the four speaker box but the speakers are blown. You basically are getting the kit to convert your rear storage box into a four speaker storage box. $50 shipped. The other is the bose subwoofer speaker box out of a 2003 for $150+shipping. I also have the Bose dash and door speak too.
Here's some updated pics of my inventory. Nothing special but the silver box in the middle only has 59k and the suspension is still complete.
Here's the boxsters that are in the "buzzard yard". Not much left of them
Latest arrival. 99 with lots of miles and a blown tip. The wheels are spoken for and the engine has a sale pending. Sorry, still no wind mesh.
Also have the 987 that's mostly still complete and only has 64k. The shifter is spoken for.

Thx Woody

Woody, happy new year! Maybe you can answer my headlight question:
Are the headlights interchangeable between 986.1 (through 2002) and 986.2 (2003-4) models? If yes, do you have any clean 986.2 lights available?
Thanks!

I only have one left headlight with a burnt inner lens. It's amazing how fast headlights in any condition sell. Headlights and taillights from 97-04 inner change in 30 seconds with no problem.

Thanks, man! Too bad about the lights, but knowing this gives me lots more options. I appreciate your advice.
