Woody, Happy New Year! I'm wondering if you have the rubber 'smile' that seals the front leading edge of the bonnet. Plastic and rubber may be incorporated. Also need cowl conceal plastic piece.
Thanks!

Woody, do you still have the speaker boxes (4 speaker )? Any of the Bose stuff?

Hi, I don't have any good front leading edge of the bonnet. The rubber parts usually get brittle with age from all the sun we get down here. The cowl conceal plastic piece depends on what year yours is. The 2001-04 mounting tabs are always broke. the 97-00 is $20+shipping. I only have a Bose speaker system from a 2003. Dash and door speakers are $20 each and the rear sub box is $150+shipping.
Thx Woody

Factory speakers on the left, Bose on the right

I have 2003, keep me in mind if you get a cowl piece and front smile. Thanks bud. Will pass on Bose...:)

Hey there woody, I got a 2000 S, wondering if you got a black soft top with glass rear window?

914racer 01-04-2016 06:12 PM

WTB 986 suspension pieces

Woody,
Do you have any really nice, low mileage suspension pieces for 2001 Boxster s no struts, but I need front and rear lower control arms and rear upper control arms, maybe more

I have an 03 glass window top and frame for $600. Shipping would probably be $200ish to get out there to Washington. Honestly you'll probably find one cheaper up there. The demand for good tops is higher down here because the sun kills the plastic windows.

I don't have any low mile S suspension, but that won't matter for the parts you're looking for. I have a 2000 base with 59k that still has all it suspension pieces. Each suspension piece is $25 each.

If Dubaday is not interested in glass window top - I may take it off your hands.

Dubaday 01-08-2016 12:03 PM

went ahead and took your advice on it being cheaper here in washington, by a couple benjamins, no shipping, and local pickup!

Thank you,
Randy

jb92563 beat you to it. I might be getting another one soon so stay tuned. It's best to follow my facebook page "Woody's Parts LLC" to see when a new car comes in and jump when you see something you want. It's hard for me to keep track of all the people who want me to get back with them if I get a particular part in. Thx

I'll be bidding on it but there might be someone who wants it more than me. If I do get it, you have dibs on the wheels right behind me. :)

tommy583 01-08-2016 04:10 PM

OK sounds good Woody. I kinda thought you might want to keep the wheels. But second in line is still good.

Looking for the MAF security torxs. Have any? Any thoughts on how to remove the two I striped?

Just replace them with a couple small Phillips head screws and be done with it. Nothing special about the security torx.

How did you manage to strip them out though?

flouese 01-10-2016 07:15 AM

Previous owner started the striping process, I didn't have much to work with. Off the top of your head, do you know what the replacement size is?

X2
They really are not much different than a drywall screw.

flouese 01-10-2016 09:24 AM

Okay, thanks

Dremel a straight cut on the screw heads so you can use a flat screw driver to remove them. Replace with something else after.

Go slowly with the Dremel so as not to build up too much heat to avoid melting the plastic. Perhaps you can squirt with water as you Dremel the screws to keep them cool.

Anything for a neutral safety switch left?

chmnmo 01-17-2016 03:46 PM

Hi. I own a '99 996 with the very light grey interior (Graphite Grey?) and need a replacement airbag cover for the three-spoke steering wheel. Super hard to find so far. I'd really appreciate any advice/help. Thank you

itsnotanova 01-17-2016 06:10 PM

I have a gray three spoke steering wheel and airbag for $400. Not going to seperate. If you text me at 512-925-9171, I can take a pic tomorrow.
Thx Woody

DarkStar 01-18-2016 11:25 AM

If you come Across the 3 covers for the hard top interior. The one for the center clamp and the two for the spin lock

Do you happen to have a dot matrix display for an 03-04 S?

I don't because I almost always sell the clusters complete for $50-150. Look for a member on here that goes by Qumalas or something like that. I always forget how he spells it. His name is Steve and he's out of Colorado. He can repair some broken clusters. I'm sure someone will chime in on his screen name and or how to get a hold of him.

amagalla 01-21-2016 07:51 PM

Woody,

I was actually looking for the the entire cluster. I have a non dot-matrix (OBC activated), and am looking to replace it with a cluster with the dot-matrix screen. I'm looking for an 03 - 04 S model (silver face). Let me know what you have.

Thanks.

Tony

I don't have any 4 stalk, but I have lots of non OBC three stalks. $25 plus shipping. I'd guess less than $10 to ship but the USPS just raised their rates.

amagalla 01-23-2016 09:42 AM

I'll take one of those 3 stalks. Expect a pm in a minute.

The immobilizer got wet from a hole in the roof. About half the boxsters I get it's either a busted back window or clogged drain hole that caused the immobilizer to get wet.

Looking for a bose speaker set

Nine8Six 02-06-2016 12:00 PM

Woody, you are an Int'l business man you no? Ship small/medium parts to China and Japan?

I could list you around the blogs here as a source for parts. I can't think how many times I've seen the guys looking for this-and-that here (2nd hand genuine porsche parts are rare here).

Extra business for you if one day you think local demand is not enough already ;)

That would be much appreciated! I've shipped all over the world so far but haven't yet to China. I did have a Chinese foreign exchange student buy a top from me. Lol does that count? I even took his old busted one off and put my good one on for no charge.
