I changed the factory 6 speed box in my racing car some years back to the 5 speed box, and now the 6 speed box is just taking up space in my garage!
This box was reconditioned in 2010 when the car was converted to a racing car and removed from the car at the start of the 2012 season. So only used for one season of racing (and that was a bad season for me - only did 5 race starts in total).
What is the going value for a good condition 6 speed box these days? I look on e-bay and it suggests to me something like between 1000 and 1500 Euro?
