FTD -

i'll check later, but i think this works. the .13 number that is right for your car was superceded by a new part number. i'll post for sure this evening.

Insite will the springs work for a 03 S and the swaybar for a 97?

what transmission do you run? the springs will work for an '03 S manual. you mention the swaybar for a 97? is that a second car? tiptronic or manual?

insite, I have a few friends with 03 S's (manual transmissions) that are considering lowering their cars after seeing mine.

I have a 97 with a manual transmission and was thinking of maybe taking the hwoel package off your hands. However, my friends are hesitant to buy used springs. What are your thought/comments on this? How many miles have you run on them?

Thanks

this thread sort of got hijacked; oh well. jhandy is the original poster selling springs / rear sway. i'm also selling springs, but my price is higher! :-)

anyway, in material science, the spring rate of a steel spring NEVER changes with age or use, it is a constant forever. what DOES change is the spring LOAD, which is essentially its uncompressed length. REALLY old springs can sag. in the case of the M030, this really won't happen during the life of the car; the wire stock is too high a quality. you can feel comfy buying used springs.
