Winner! For me, Griot's garage is the best I've tried. Took off most of the baked on brake dust with just a spray on and agitation with a bristled wheel brush and rinse off. For some of the really tough spots in the crevasses, some medium scrubbing with a non-abrasive pad was all it needed.

I just received my Griot's Garage and was so anxious to try it I went out and used it in the dark, so no pics yet. Maybe on the weekend - when I can apply a coat of Rejex, too.

Thanks for the recommendation, Jay!

This is the Purple cleaner from Orchard Supply at full strength, with a little detailing in the corners. I need a brush for the lug nuts, and will be happy.

I like the idea of the wax on the rims, I think that will help the weekly upkeep. What kind do you recommend?
