Thx for the info, Jim. I'm a bit reluctant to start dismantling things without a proper manual (no Bentley for 987 yet) and while the car is still under warranty. Cars these days have all sorts of 'traps' that can make a nightmare out of even the easiest DYIs if you miss something. If that Alarm Module DOES break (or if I break it while 'protecting' it
) and I take it to the dealer, what will they make of my Tupperware container? So, probably I won't be doing that while under warranty.
Anybody found illustrated instructions on installing the extinguisher mount or at least on taking the seats out in a 987?
