I'm also keeping my fingers crossed for you. However, it sounds exactly like what happened to me. Which, unfortunately, resulted in full engine replacement. Perhaps since the original shop was able to turn the engine over it's a less expensive problem.

Repeat after me: Don't take a Porsche to an indendependent shop when your car dies and a CEL comes on.
