Hi,

The Battery is sulphated. Unfortunately, not a warranty item according to a TSB. The problem was probably created when the Battery was discharged.

A total discharge is very bad for a Wet Cell Battery. Tests have indicated that a Battery loses at least 15% of it's ability to accept a charge with each discharge. This means that it doesn't take too many to render the Battery seriously compromised, or even useless...
