It is attached to the top, left rear of the Crankcase under the left Intake Manifold. It is also finned and gets some cooling from the limited airflow as well, but most of the cooling is accomplished by passing the heat to the Coolant which then carries it to the Radiators for release to atmosphere. You must remove the Center Intake Plenum to access it. Hope this helps...
