I think most people don't find that piece because it is gone somewhere in the ducting. The second video that I linked to above, by Yogi, shows him recovering it from his driver side window duct... like me. Since I now know where it goes I stuck it on my repaired door.
I didn't think to measure its position, so just estimated based on the picture.
