Do you happen to remember if this is a straightforward swap, or if any additional parts were needed? From what I understand, it seems like a direct bolt-on, but I’d love to confirm.

As for the sound, I completely agree it’s very subjective, but since you’re running it, could you share a bit more detail? Is it louder mainly on startup, at certain RPM ranges, or just overall louder without being obnoxious? And have you noticed any drone at cruising speeds?

Really appreciate your help!
This Dansk muffler is often referred to as their "sausage" muffler. A search on this forum using that term will likely bring forth a series of past threads for you - many likely to be from me! (If not, feel free to search under my user name and some key words such as "exhaust", "muffler", and so on.)

A very straightforward DIY installation, a direct bolt-on. Could not be easier. You will be amazed at the weight of the OEM muffler once you remove it.

Just slightly louder than stock at idle, not obnoxious, very neighbor friendly. It is when you put your foot into it that it sounds at its best - a nice Porsche-y growl. No drone to worry about. You'll love it!

I bought mine used. The dents that you see in my picture below were courtesy of the previous owner (cosmetic damage only, no performance effect).
