Yes, I have learned that the PO's diagnosis of ECU was wrong, it has to be the immobilizer, based on symptoms and location of water intrusion.
I understand this is a big gamble, but the rest seems solid and it drove to DMV this year, dreaming, I know.
Anyway, towing to me tomorrow, hoping to have some idea in a few days whether it is going to be an awesome Xmas, or a (nother) pile of metal to dispose of??????
No doubt will be leaning heavily on all of you, if there seems to be any hope of resurrection!
