Hi Andre, there's a few major problems with that. The 1999 and earlier cars:
- Use a different DME (Engine control module) with a very different connector.
- Have a cable throttle where the later cars are electronic.
- Do not have the 'Resonance Flapper Valve' on the intake that the later cars have.
I think you'll need a harness from a 2000 or 2001 Tiptronic. A 2002 should work, but will need a slight
modification for the temp sensor. 2003 and 2004 have a different DME and will need more modification. Pretty sure it can be from either a 2.7L or 3.2L. I don't have any Tiptronic harnesses available.
