I hope it's not the same issue with yours, but when I bough mine I had the exact same issue with the windows. Auto drop and raise worked, so that eliminated the actuators. The previous owner told me the Immobilizer had gotten wet. Sure enough, after changing the Immobilizer the windows worked.

I hope it's not your issue, but maybe it had sustained prior water damage and the corrosion is only now getting to the part effecting the windows? It won't hurt to open in up and look for water damage.
