1997 Boxster Tiptronic Wanted or Possible Repair for Current Trans
Hello, The Tiptronic trans is making a loud whining noise and I have been told it is shot which is tough news for a 65K mile car. I don't have codes but could possibly have them soon to see what exactly is wrong. if it can be repaired. The mechanic said possible water got into the transmission. It was leaking trans fluid when I had it towed in. Seems that no one is capable or willing to repair this transmission here in the Phoenix, AZ area which is weird to me.
I am willing to purchase one from somewhere else. Let me know. Thanks, John
