Yes, another 100 + horsepower makes a big difference! I got that by getting a 3.4, but rather than swapping it into my '02 Boxster, I upgraded the whole car and got a 2010 Cayman S. At track days it is very noticeable, bends that were no problem flat-out in the Boxster are now places where you have to lift!
