It comes down to the actual company/mfg really. Some wont say they are reman but actually are. Factory reman would be generally better then a true aftermarket.

As with anything aftermarket....mileage varies. Some are good, some are crap. Just make sure to get them from a reliable source that is/has been around awhile. Warranty is only as good if the company is around. Look at Craftsman as an example. Great warranty, but good luck finding a place anymore to get something replaced.
