Yeah, I can understand that
It`s time consuming and lots of things may come up along the way that you didn`t think of. But at least then you know what you put into the engine, so you can only blame yourself if it falls apart
For the bearing: actually, both. A roller and there`s a ball bearing behind for trust control. There are more pictures of them if you go back a few pages.
