Although I haven't installed the Numeric either... The stock has been working well and in my opinion it is a lot more work taking off the center console in the Cayman and I don't want to do it
I would sell the Ben's for $125 shipped in the continental US + PP fees. This is just the shifter and not the extra optional side yoke piece.
Edit: 9x7 shifter no longer available I also have a 9x7 OEM shifter, part # 99742401000, that I ran in my Boxster for a bit before going to the Ben's shifter. This has a 15% shorter throw than the OEM 986 shifter. I installed it 8/31/2014 and drove it for 18,774 miles before removing and installing the Ben's shifter 5/13/2017 at 131,85 miles. It comes with cable end clips that are the same age and mileage as the shifter (it came with them
)
I would also sell that for $125 shipped in the continental US + PP fees.
If you do the Ben's, you can just rebuild your original shifter with it, you don't need to buy this other shifter (it is too nice to be used as a base for the Ben's shifter)
- Ben's shifter - new, $125 shipped + PP fees
- Edit: 9x7 shifter no longer available OEM Porsche 9x7 shifter 99742401000, 18,774 miles, $125 shipped + PP fees
If either of these sounds interesting please let me know.
9x7 shifter no longer available but a potential other option may now be:
