I've ever seen of the claim of the TIP impacting HP. Performance, yes. A little bit.

I owned a 2.5 '00 and an 3.2 '01S both TIPs. I prefer the later TIP just because you can immediately paddle/button shift manually without touching the shift lever. But the 201 HP '00 was the more fun because you could drive it harder before you got into legal trouble.
