Update, but still need some help.

I had a couple of minutes so I ran back out to the garage. If I jumper the relay socket pins 87 to 30, the high speed fans run.

But grounding pin 85, they do not. Whereas on the low speed fans they do.

Ideas? I haven't dug for a diagram on the relay yet, but my gut tells me 87 to 30 are the load, not the coil. So thinking critically, it seems I've probably burned up whatever the triggering circuit is..... in the dme maybe? Yeah..... this isn't making me feel better yet. Haha

[Edit]
85 can't be a simple trigger for the coil, because grounding that socket with no relay in it makes the low- speed fans run, (and did the high speed as well, at one time).

I think I need a wiring diagram. [/edit]

[Edit 2] realized I HAVE a wiring diagram in my Bentley manual.
I've become entirely dizzy trying to follow it.... this is Greek to me. Im pretty good with languages.... but.... well..... this is Greek. [/edit 2]

[Edit 3]
Hahaha.
Ok..... sometimes I need to just step away. Y'all ever experienced a time when you wondered who let you have a set of tools in the first place? Hahaha.
Call off the dogs.... I solved it.
I could erase all of the above.... but where'd be the fun in that? Hahahaha
