I've got 4 of the 996 Carrera twist wheels, 17x9 ET 50, 996.362.128.00, would probably need a small spacer to run on the Boxster, see these threads for details:

I saw a guy running these on the back at Sebring with the 17x8.5 version on the front, running 275/40/17 back (which is approved on a 9" wheel) and 255/40/17 on the front.

I've also got 4 of the 17x8.5 versions, part # 996.362.126.05, and I wanted to see if anyone wanted to try out that combination.

I'm selling the 17x8.5 wheels for $300 a pair, and the 17x9 wheels for $200 a pair.

If someone wanted to try out that combo I want to give them first shot, but if you want just the 17x8.5 wheels (for spec box) let me know and I'll give you first shot if nobody wants the 17x9-17x8.5 set. I suppose you could run them square as well?

I've also got 4 17x8.5 Boxster S twists, 986.362.126.05, first pair s $300, 2nd pair is $275 due to some curb rash on one wheel. I'll get another thread with pics on those, and will get pics of these other ones when I can get to my storage, maybe Sunday (tomorrow is wife's birthday)

Shipping from FL at my cost, I get a discount with UPS so not too bad, my guess is $25-$35'ish per pair.

Edit: I also have several 17x7 fronts in both styles, $100 per pair if anybody wants them, or maybe I can sell them to somebody with a VW Bus

Or a 944?
